We are pleased to welcome you to the University of North Texas. New Faculty Orientation provides new full-time faculty with the tools and information they need for a smooth transition into our university. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

New UNT faculty member posing with ScrappyWhat topics are covered at orientation?
The two-day orientation introduces new full-time faculty to the UNT leadership team, helps familiarize new faculty with campus resources, provides an overview of employee benefits programs, and presents tips for a successful first semester and career at UNT.

How do I enroll for benefits, purchase parking permits, process the I-9 form, and enroll for direct deposit?
Soon after accepting the offer of employment, new faculty will receive an email from the Office of the Provost, which provides specific directions for processing your I-9 form, enrolling in direct deposit, selecting benefit and retirement options, purchasing your parking permit, and more.

I couldn't attend the scheduled New Faculty Orientation. What should I do?
We strongly encourage individuals who cannot attend New Faculty Orientation to attend our makeup session. Please email Faculty.Success@unt.edu to register your attendance. You also are welcome to attend the next New Faculty Orientation!

What if I have questions?
If you have questions about New Faculty Orientation, contact Faculty Success at 940-565-3987 or email Faculty.Success@unt.edu.

Again, welcome! Congratulations on your wise decision to join our faculty and build your career at UNT.
