Understanding the zoning rules that shape Texas communities just got easier thanks
to 11 faculty and students from the Departments of Economics and Public Administration.
With an $885,000 grant from the U.S. Space Force, physics professor Bibhudutta Rout
is leading research at UNT that will contribute to a new type of solar cell that is
lower cost and capable of enduring longer in space.
Haley Zettler, associate professor of criminal justice, is pioneering initiatives
to that promote successful reentry and provide support for incarcerated individuals.
Zettler launched Texas’ first Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program in 2022.
