The Mentoring Grant Program provides financial support for full-time faculty across all ranks. During the spring semester, a call for proposals is publicized and faculty members are encouraged to apply for individual or team grants. The goal of the Mentoring Grants Program is to support a culture of faculty mentoring by funding opportunities for faculty to create professional networks within and beyond UNT. Focus areas for 2024-2025 include connecting UNT faculty members to external mentors and resources to support career development, supporting innovative faculty mentoring strategies, and sustaining long-term mentoring efforts at UNT through mentor training, effective team/group mentoring, and inter-department or inter-college faculty development.
