UNT student in class

UNT 90s is a provost working group exploring innovative bachelor's degree pathways that can be completed in 90+ semester credit hours while maintaining the academic quality, rigor, and transformative learning experience that defines a UNT education. The initiative is examining how thoughtfully redesigned curricula, work-integrated learning, and strong industry partnerships can create focused, affordable, and career-aligned pathways to degree completion.
While some students may choose to enter the workforce sooner, others may leverage these pathways as a foundation for advanced study, including graduate and professional education opportunities in selected disciplines. Guided by a commitment to student success, educational opportunity, and academic excellence, UNT 90s seeks to expand access, reduce barriers, and create pathways that empower students to flourish while advancing UNT's mission and impact.
