The University of North Texas has established several committees responsible for the multiple facets of the vast curriculum a university of its size requires. The University Undergraduate Curriculum Committee (UUCC) consists of faculty members concerned with the academic integrity of the institution, the quality of course and programmatic offerings, and the realization that the institution is diverse and that the academic programs it offers will be similarly diverse. The UUCC is a committee of the Faculty Senate and works with the Oversight Committee on the Core Curriculum, Graduate Council, Core Curriculum, and the Office of the Registrar in order to meet educational objectives, and ensure the University places the primary responsibility for content, quality, and effectiveness of its curriculum with its faculty as required by SACS-COC.
