Mission 

UNT’s Office of Advising Services is a centralized advising team committed to serving students and the advising community.  From pre-admission through graduation, we eliminate barriers to academic success and increase retention through accessible services including major exploration counseling, prospective advising and the class concierge service. 

Vision

UNT’s Office of Advising Services will be known for its tailored support of undergraduate students and the advising community.  Advising Services will utilize predictive analytics to improve retention and graduation rates, increase visibility of academic pathways for prospective students, and create exploratory programming for undecided student populations. Advising Services will also increase its support of the university advising community by creating and implementing an assessment cycle, providing professional development opportunities, and foster a growing advising community at UNT.
