Faculty Success is committed to supporting faculty to be successful in their promotion and tenure review through our workshops, recognition opportunities, and policy support. We are now expanding this support in formalizing the process for our Faculty Advocate Network (or FAN) and will host the first training session. Faculty Advocates are senior-level faculty (usually full professors, principal lecturers, clinical professors) who can advise and “clarify aspects of the tenure and promotion process and/or answer questions regarding the candidate’s case” as described in UNT Policy 6.004.
