  1. Being a Professor at UNT - FULL
    UNT faculty will share their experiences and work as professors at UNT including important support resources including UNT's Office of Research and Innovation, collaborative opportunities, and support available in their college and departments. Session will be interactive providing opportunity for new faculty to engage with each other and the presenters.
    Target Audience – Assisting Professors, Associate Professors and Professors
  2. Non-Tenure Track Faculty Mentoring Network (NTFMN)
    Session will highlight the work of NTFMN and the support provided to our non-tenure track faculty.  Come meet the leadership team and learn about plans for the 2020-2021 academic year. 
    Target Audience - Lecturers, Clinical Faculty and Librarians
  3. Research and Innovation Services - FULL
    The Division of Research and Innovation is responsible for developing and implement strategies and services in collaboration with the Office of the Provost and other vice-presidential areas to transform and expand UNT's research enterprise.  Representatives from Research and Innovation will host a question and answer session based on their NFO short course. Please note you must complete the “Division of Research & Innovation Overview” training course in Bridge (i.e. “NFO short course”) prior to this breakout session.
    Target Audience - Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Professors and Research Faculty
  4. UNT Affinity Groups
    UNT has numerous faculty Affinity groups to provide additional support and mentoring to faculty.  Linked by a common background, purpose, ideology, or interest, these groups play help to ensure that UNT provides an inclusive environment where all faculty are valued, included, and empowered to succeed. Representatives of the LGBT Faculty Network, Women’s Faculty Network, the Black Faculty Network, and the International Faculty Network will provide information about their group and share their 2020-2021 calendar of events.

  5. Excellence in Teaching - FULL
    Quality teaching is highly valued by UNT students and the university community.  Annually the university recognizes its most accomplished faculty in the area of teaching.  In this session, winners of our most prestigious teaching awards will share their strategies for teaching success.

  6. UNT Library
    The UNT Library breakout session will highlight library services, resources, and collections that are available to faculty to assist them with their research and instructional needs.
