The COACHE (The Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education) Steering Committee continues to focus on division-level results of the 2018 COACHE Survey. The Committee is examining divisional results in comparison with 2018 Gallup Engagement Survey. Results continue to show that lecturers are most dissatisfied with the level of equity in their treatment and respect as compared to faculty of other ranks. Additionally, faculty at the associate professor rank also express higher levels of dissatisfaction than do assistant and full professors. Finally, faculty members in all divisions express concerns about Recognition and Appreciation based on both the COACHE and Gallup surveys. The Steering Community will present full findings for the division analysis at the Deans' Council Meeting on March 21.
