The Non-Tenure Track Faculty Mentoring Network is pleased to offer an opportunity to learn more about Teaching Portfolios via a virtual workshop on 12/4/2020 from 10am to 1pm. (3 hours)
What is a Teaching Portfolio? It is a compilation of individual documents highlighting instructional effectiveness. It goes beyond your teaching philosophy to include archival evidence and contextualization. The goal is to provide a clear narrative about your teaching.
Built on the Peter Seldin Book "The Teaching Portfolio." This ½ day Zoom workshop will take you through how to build your own portfolio. The workshop will be led by Donna Marquet, Senior Lecturer in Theatre who has led the workshop team for the last 5 years.
After you register, you will be added to a Canvas course that will have a few prep questions and tasks to get you ready for the workshop (probably about 2 hours of prep). If you have any questions feel free to contact donna.marquet@unt.edu.
