For this workshop, Faculty Development Specialist, Jenna Ledford, and Instructional Design Consultant and Performance Studies Scholar, Anna Marsden, will use "poor man's theatre" as a framework for developing an inclusive mindset for creative online teaching during COVID-19. The first half of the workshop will be dedicated to exploring how the "poor man's theatre" style can help educators and students use their present resources and conditions towards creative online teaching and learning. The second half of the workshop will focus on specific strategies and techniques focused on three broad areas: assessments and assignments, learning activities, and instructional materials. Workshop participants will walk away with a "packet" of materials, including examples from online UNT educators, to refer to when designing their own creative online teaching practices.
