How do inclusive instructors facilitate learning experiences that are equitable and promote students’ sense of belonging? During this workshop led by Tracie M. Addy, author of highly acclaimed, What Inclusive Instructors Do, we will discuss how we can create transformative learning environments by exploring the results of a study of instructors who implement inclusive teaching approaches. We will also apply the principles and practices discussed to a few case studies relevant to teaching students at UNT. Faculty can earn Anti-Bias and Cultural Awareness credit for attending the event in its entirety.
