Core Curriculum

The 42-hour Core Curriculum is required of all undergraduate students, regardless of major. The Core consists of courses across disciplines, departments, and colleges. The Core is designed to provide a broad perspective of learning that prepares students to comprehend, connect, and collect marketable skills needed to become successful citizens and leaders in the community.

The Core is designed, taught, and assessed by faculty members from the University of North Texas who work in concert to assure that students explore and learn from contact with faculty from multiple disciplines.
