UNT targets the enhancement of students’ marketable skills through multiple courses and programs in every department that cover a wide range of marketable skills beyond the eight targeted by Career Connect. These marketable skills include interpersonal, cognitive, and applied skill areas that cover hard and soft skills and complement UNT’s college majors.
UNT has identified marketable skills for all of its degree programs (see graph below). UNT faculty have identified all of UNT’s marketable skills, which employers or discipline-specific agencies, e.g., internship providers, chambers of commerce, workforce development boards, and other workforce-related entities, have approved.
