In 2016, I joined the Career Connect team as a Graduate Research Assistant as I began my doctoral education in Counseling. As a graduate research assistant, my role was to support the research, development, and implementation of reflective practices within the program. In 2019, I moved into a full-time position as a Faculty Development Specialist. In this role, my primary focus is on collaborating with faculty to promote high-impact practices and the assessment of marketable skills into curriculum and programs to facilitate deeper and more meaningful learning for the UNT students who participate. My background and education in counseling guides much of the work I do with faculty and students because the emphasis I place on building collaborative relationships and how those relationships can create spaces for student growth and development.
