Publisher Resources: Accessing Textbooks and Course Materials

Most publishers are providing access to online text and course tools.  Here's a list of resources which will be updated as new information becomes available.  If you have questions or would like assistance navigating the resources, email affordability@unt.edu

Central Access to Publishers

Vital Source is working with a variety of publishers to allow faculty and students to access their digital course materials through their platform. We recommend you check this site first.  Visit here to find your course materials. 

Pearson

Pearson developed a resource site with information from Pearson regarding continuing education during uncertain times.  Pearson developed free webinars and best practices to support faculty transitioning to online. Additionally, the link connects faculty to advisors that can offer support. If you are a faculty member using a Pearson product, you can follow this link: Support for moving courses fully online

McGraw Hill

McGraw Hill is offering faculty complimentary access to their core digital learning platforms, McGraw-Hill Connect and ALEKS for the remainder of the spring 2020 term. Find your representative for your discipline here

Cengage

Cengage developed a resource page found here.

Macmillan

Macmillan is offering students free access to LaunchPad, Sapling, FlipIt, and iClicker to help students get through the remainder of the semester. Visit their learning catalog to see which digital products may be available. iClicker is available with all of the Macmillan products.

Wiley

Wiley has accessible links to view online catalogs for each platform for courseware in varying subject areas: WileyPLUS catalogKnewton Alta catalog and ,zyBooks catalog. Wiley is also supporting continuity of learning by requesting access to WileyPLUS or Knewton Alta by completing this request form. Instructors looking for zyBooks access can apply through the Request a Demo button

Current WileyPLUS, Knewton Alta, or zyBooks users, are here to help indiviudals transition to a full-time, online teaching environment.  Please visit the site for videos, webinars and PDFs that will help quickly get up to speed. Additionally, Vital source developed a webpage to help faculty and students navigating the transition, VitalSource Help. Additionally, courseware support can be found for various Wiley products: WileyPLUSKnewtonzyBooks

Soomo

Soomo developed a round-up of resources from schools and organizations to assist faculty in transitioning to online. Soomo is also offering collection of original videos for humanities and social sciences courses including American government, history, writing, and psychology free to any interested instructor, found here
