Student Money Management Center (SMMC)
At UNT, we have an organization dedicated to helping you with your money. The Student Money Management Center aids students with their money through personal consultations, personalized budgets, finding housing options, assessing private student loan options, and much more. This is NOT for financial aid, but rather for planning your budget and gaining financial literacy throughout your university career and beyond. Financial Aid & Scholarships
SAP Warning/Excess Hours with Financial Aid
UNT requires you to have a 2.0 GPA or better to be considered in good standing. You must also successfully complete and pass a certain amount of classes that you take each semester. If either of these criteria is not met, you may be at risk of losing your financial aid. For more information, visit the Financial Aid office.
If you take too many courses not required for your degree plan or drop too many courses you may be charged for excessive hours. This means that your courses will cost more per hour. For more information, visit the Office of the Registrar.
