What: Getting Started with Respondus

Respondus can be a powerful way to create or convert tests and then upload them into Blackboard. This class will cover the basics of getting started with the tool, how to convert multiple choice exams from Word, and how to export them to your Blackboard course(s).

Blackboard Bootcamp

The Blackboard Learn Boot Camp is a face-to-face workshop introducing instructors to designing your courses for online delivery. This hands-on workshop is targeted for instructors new to Blackboard Learn and/or those interested in learning more about quality course design. Topics will cover best practices for course design as well as the basics of Blackboard Learn.

Getting More Productive with your Research - Team Mentoring Meeting

Need to increase your research productivity? Consider joining the network “Getting More Productive with your Research,” a mentoring group for associate professors.  Led by Victor Prybutok, Regents professor in Information Technology and Decision Sciences, and Jim Meernik, professor in Political Science, this group will uncover successful strategies for increasing both the quality and quantity of your research.

Women's Faculty Network October Luncheon

The Women’s Faculty Network (WFN) will host its first meeting on October 17, 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. (Gateway Center Ballroom).  The session will include a panel discussion from members of the Opportunity Analysis Committee who will share highlights from the in-depth review of UNT's distribution of resources.  Members will also share "Stories from the Road," network with colleagues across campus, and identify new faculty members to mentor. 

Time: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Come and go as your schedule permits)
