Teaching for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNT allows them to immerse themselves in the subjects they love with lifelong learners looking for new adventures. Since 2016, the program has offered non-credit learning experiences for adults 50 and better.
2024 Salute to UNT Faculty Book Authors
Authors, Co-Authors, and guests are invited to RSVP for the 2024 Salute to UNT Faculty Book Authors event. The event honors faculty authors and co-authors of 1st edition books, original translations, or scholarly editions published in any format in 2023. The event is sponsored by the Office of Faculty Success and the UNT Libraries. Come and hear your colleagues speak about their books. Hors D'Oeuvres and beverages will be served.

Topics will include both the basics of ILL as well as more advanced content on utilizing DOIs, finding digitized public domain items, copyright for ILL, and more! Chemistry Professor Shengqian Ma, a global leader in nanoporous materials research, earned the 2024 Edith and Peter O'Donnell Award in Physical Sciences from the Texas Academy of Medicine, Engineering, Science and Technology (TAMEST). He was chosen for his innovative work in the field of decontamination.
