Dr. Wendy K. Wilkins | As Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Wendy K. Wilkins is responsible for the main mission of the institution, including teaching, research and professional service as carried out by its academic programs and services. Dr. Wilkins handles budget allocations for the schools, colleges, libraries, and academic support areas, and provides leadership in the development and supervision of programs, including changes in curriculum, degree programs, and organization, in conjunction with the deans and representatives of the faculty. She provides leadership in the implementation of effective planning in academic affairs, ensures leadership and excellence in academic degree programs and support units. Dr. Wilkins represents the academic interests of the university in off-campus activities as designated by the President and acts for the President in her absence. |

Dr. Celia Williamson | The Deputy Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Studies assists the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs in working with the President, other Vice Presidents, Deans and faculty. Works with state and local educational agencies; interacts with all facets of the University; assumes primary responsibility for supervising academic support services; serves as primary liaison between the University and area community/junior colleges; serves as the administrative liaison with the North Texas Consortium of Community and Junior Colleges; and chairs the Associate Deans' Council and the University Curriculum Committee. Performs other duties assigned by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. |

Dr. Philip Turner |
As Vice Provost for Learning Enhancement, Philip Turner, serves in an advisory position to the Provost and collaborates with the vice presidents, deans and department chairs in all matters related to the planning, designing, delivery, assessment and improvement of teaching and learning at the university. Dr. Turner provides oversight and supervision over the Center for Distributed Learning and the Center for Teaching Learning and Assessment. He serves as the Director of UNT’s Quality Enhancement Plan for the Southern Accreditation of Colleges and Schools (SACS) which is the foundation of UNT’s Next Generation Course Redesign™ project. |

Dr. Earl Gibbons Vice Provost and Associate Vice President for International Education |
Earl Gibbons is the Vice Provost and Associate Vice President for International Education and provides the vision and leadership for international education at the university. Central to Dr. Gibbons’ responsibilities is the implementation of the globalization initiative of the university’s strategic plan. He is also charged with enhancing the university’s reputation as a leader in international education while building regional, national and global partnerships, as well as, undertaking the challenges for advancing the international dimensions in research, curriculum and instruction. Dr. Gibbons is known for fostering international awareness and diversity programming throughout the university and for providing administrative leadership to the Department of International Studies and Programs, the Intensive English Language Institute and Study Abroad. |

Dr. Troy Johnson |
As the enrollment manager for the university, Troy Johnson leads UNT’s Enrollment Management Committee and Graduate Enrollment Management Committee in their charge to develop and implement an ongoing, coordinated strategic plan to recruit, retain and graduate a diverse student body that is congruent with the university’s vision and mission, state goals associated with Closing the Gaps, and Accountability System targets. He holds primary planning, budgeting and operational responsibility for Enrollment Management and services delivered by Undergraduate Admissions, Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, Office of the Registrar, Center for Outreach and Community Involvement, Program for Academic Readiness, and the Emerald Eagles Scholars program. |
Vacant Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research and Effectiveness |
This position serves as Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research and Effectiveness and leads the charge to ensure that the University Strategic Plan fulfills its administrative and academic missions and responsibilities. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the planning and accountability systems which support institutional effectiveness and accreditations at all levels. This position collaborates with the President, vice presidents, deans and directors in the creation of unit plans, as well as directing the review process for programs which do not have an external accreditation body. This position also is responsible for guiding the academic units in the planning, institutional effectiveness and assessment processes of its academic programs and services for accreditation. | |

Donna Asher, SPHR

Donna Asher serves as the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and directs the management and supervision of the financial operations, human resources management information system, university space and daily operations of all units reporting to the Provost and Vice president for Academic Affairs Office. Donna plans and manages accounts in an academic budget of over $200 million and works closely with the Vice President for Finance and Administration, as well as, each dean, and the directors of major units reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. She assumes leadership for the integration of academic budgeting and proves oversight and management of the processes for promotion and tenure, faculty development leaves and faculty and staff grievances/complaints. |

Ronald Chrisman |
Ronald Chrisman is the Director of the UNT Press and supervises all aspects of book acquisitions, publication processes and income disbursements. In this role, he acquires book manuscripts and negotiates contracts with book authors and agents, approves book designs and serves as the liaison with printers and distributor, Texas A&M Consortium, regarding the marketing and sales of UNT Press books. Ronald is responsible for coordinating marketing and promotion of UNT Press publications, including book exhibits, signings and advertising schedules. He serves as chair of the Editorial Board. |
