Each research cluster proposal must provide the following information:

- Project Description. Describe the proposed research cluster in a maximum of ten (10) pages with 11 point font. The Project
Description must explain:
- Existing core and auxiliary faculty expertise (with indication of recent related productivity)
- Existing internal or external collaborations or partnerships
- Existing research infrastructure
- Types of faculty to be hired in each year (specific areas of expertise, explicit description of how they would augment the productivity of the cluster)
- How the cluster would improve UNT’s recognition
- How the cluster would fulfill UNT’s mission and strategic plan
- Projected ROI over seven (7) years (maximum of one page)
- Detailed budget by year
- Two-page CV for each core faculty member and one-page CV for each affiliated faculty member.
- Signature page including the signatures of all core and affiliated faculty, chairs of the relevant departments, and deans of the relevant colleges/schools, indicating their awareness of and support for the cluster proposal.
